Media preservation expert, restoration & mastering service.
Creative Audio Works was founded by Stewart Adam, media preservation expert, in 2006, seeing a need to preserve audio recordings from our past. Whether corporate, college/university, musician, or a consumer with family recordings that cannot be replaced, Creative Audio Works is dedicated to preserving your audio media and provides exceptional audio archiving and preservation of audio media, audio mastering for CD and digital downloading, and audio post-production for film and video (Mix-to-Pix).
As an audio archiving company, we take extra care to ensure we safely preserve your audio media with our expert audio media preservation, restoration, and mastering services. While there are a number of benefits of audio preservation, here are our favorites:
- Restore aging media
- Prevent further audio deterioration
- Custom solutions for your audio media
- Preserve your content for the generations ahead
Stewart Adam is an expert audio engineer with over three decades of experience. He traveled the country in a remote truck, recording concert albums for B.B. King, Joan Armatrading, The Hank Jones Trio, and Sha Na Na. He also spent time recording live concerts for The King Biscuit Flower Hour, including Roxy Music, Steve Forbert, Canned Heat, McGuinn Clark and Hillman, and Aerosmith. From there, Stewart shifted towards film and video.
Stewart has also had the pleasure to craft audio content for globally-leading brands, including McDonald’s and Ocean Spray. Further, he has worked on political advertisements and documentaries such as Road to Reconciliation, as well as historical accounts like Traces of the Trade and The War by Ken Burns. More recently, he worked on the Oscar-nominated documentary On Tip Toe, a film about Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the African singers that backed up Paul Simon on Graceland.
Stewart is on a mission to create the leading audio archiving company to preserve cherished audio media for the nation. Will you join him in his efforts?
