Stewart Adam is an expert audio engineer with over three decades of experience. He traveled the country in a remote truck, recording concert albums for B.B. King, Joan Armatrading, The Hank Jones Trio, and Sha Na Na. He also spent time recording live concerts for The King Biscuit Flower Hour, including Roxy Music, Steve Forbert, Canned Heat, McGuinn Clark and Hillman, and Aerosmith. From there, Stewart shifted towards film and video.
Stewart has also had the pleasure to craft audio content for globally-leading brands, including McDonald’s and Ocean Spray. Further, he has worked on political advertisements and documentaries such as Road to Reconciliation, as well as historical accounts like Traces of the Trade and The War by Ken Burns. More recently, he worked on the Oscar-nominated documentary On Tip Toe, a film about Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the African singers that backed up Paul Simon on Graceland.
Stewart is on a mission to create the leading audio archiving company to preserve cherished audio media for the nation. Will you join him in his efforts?
Reviews of our Audio Transfer, Restoration and Mastering Services
Stewart has just completed two projects for me. He transferred a moldy and scratched 1940s 78 record to CD, and transferred a collection of eleven 1940s 78 jazz records to CD for me. I am delighted with the results- Stewart carefully cleaned the records, eliminated the scratches and background noise, and the CDs all sound fantastic. Stewart even designed CD labels that echo the original record labels. It is amazing and wonderful to enjoy the beauty of this music after all these years. Stewart is a true professional and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him. I highly recommend his services.
Thanks so much for the quick turn-around transferring my Mother’s 50 something-year-old audiotapes. The sound quality of the CDs was terrific. We now have a family treasure we can share with all those family and friends who loved my Mother and miss her singing. The joy these CDs have brought us is immeasurable. We’re so glad we found you. Best wishes,
Stewart has been a part of our team for many years. We have worked together for almost 20 years for both our local and location production sound. In recent years, Stewart has been of service as an audio expert for creating enhancements, restoration, and conversions of audio that is less than optimal. He is a professional with a personality that understands the needs of our clients and reflects the quality that is expected from any RAMPION team member. He is fully equipped for any sound or audio challenge.
I would highly recommend creative audio works to preserve your old reel recordings. From shipping to communication to the flawless finished product, they were a pleasure to deal with. Good price. Fast turnaround too! I just got back a little of my youth. Thank you!
